Thermostat Housing Adapter

Due to the larger diameters of the thermostat openings on early FE intakes, it can be necessary to find rare housings that accommodate the larger stats. Our housing adaptor allows the use of a 2.12” high flow stat so commonly found thermostat housings can be used. The O-ring seal at the intake also allows for intake removal/replacement without destroying the housing gasket.

Included with the billet aluminum adapter is the O-ring and two 1.5” long AMK B-12323 SEMS bolts.  (Always verify proper bolt length for your intake and upper hose fit at radiator and trim as necessary).  If your intake threads are damaged, you can request ¼” longer bolts AMK B-12441 (1.75”) bolts with your order at no extra cost.
